About Indigo Lakes

Indigo Lakes was built mostly in the 1980s and early 1990s. Many streets are short cul-de-sacs named after famous golf courses, much of the neighborhood sits under mature trees, and lakes and ponds run behind some homes.

It is made up of several sections. Some have larger brick and block homes on bigger lots, and many of these have no HOA. Others, such as the Courtyards and Pebble Creek, have smaller attached or patio homes with a quarterly fee that covers lawn care, exterior painting on a schedule and a shared pool. Three condo complexes also carry the Indigo name: Indigo Pines, Indigo Woods and Indigo Point.

Indigo Lakes is not part of LPGA International, the newer golf community farther west.

Amenities and community

Amenities depend on the section. Indigo Pines has the most: a heated pool and hot tub, a clubhouse and a fitness room with a sauna. Indigo Woods has its own pool and clubhouse, and several of the attached-home sections share a community pool. There is no club or neighborhood-wide amenity center.

Location and getting around

The neighborhood is in mainland Daytona Beach, a few minutes from Daytona International Speedway and One Daytona, and close to I-95 and I-4, Tanger Outlets, Daytona Beach International Airport, Embry-Riddle and Daytona State College. The beach is about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Check the flood zone on each listing.

In the courtyard and patio-home sections it usually covers lawn care, exterior painting on a schedule and a shared pool. The three condo complexes, Indigo Pines, Indigo Woods and Indigo Point, ran about $420 to $425 a month, since condo fees usually also cover building insurance, the roof and common areas, and often water, trash and cable.

There's no CDD. Fees change over time, so check the current amount and what it covers on each listing.
