Sunset Cove
Sunset Cove is a small neighborhood of single-family homes from 2006 to 2013 on one street off Madeline Avenue in Port Orange, with a mix of one-story and two-story houses and a low homeowners' association fee.
About Sunset Cove
The whole neighborhood lines one street, Sunset Cove Drive, which turns off Madeline Avenue, runs south, then bends east and ends in a cul-de-sac. It was built in three phases between about 2006 and 2013, and a pond sits at the far east end.
Flood zones matter here. The first phase, along the northern stretch of the street, is outside FEMA's high-risk flood zones, but the later phases to the south and east are in zone AE, where most mortgage lenders require flood insurance. Check the flood zone on each listing and get an insurance quote early.
Amenities and community
There's no community pool or clubhouse. The homeowners' association looks after the common areas.
