Sawgrass Point
Sawgrass Point is a neighborhood of single-family homes from the late 1990s in Port Orange, with its own private boat ramp, dock and pavilion on Spruce Creek for the residents.
About Sawgrass Point
Sawgrass Point was built in three phases between about 1995 and 2000, on streets such as Shady Creek Lane, Stony Point Drive and Marley Drive. The homes aren't on the water themselves, but the neighborhood has its own private landing on Spruce Creek for the residents.
Many lots back up to woods or a preserve, so a good number of backyards have no homes directly behind them, and a few homes sit on a cul-de-sac.
Amenities and community
The homeowners' association keeps a small waterfront park on Spruce Creek with a boat ramp, a dock for fishing and a pavilion for picnics. It suits kayaks, canoes and small boats, and it's a handy spot for fishing and paddling on the creek. There's no community pool, but about two-thirds of the homes have their own.
Location and getting around
