About Florida Shores
Florida Shores covers a big part of Edgewater on the mainland side of US 1. It's laid out on a long grid of residential streets, most named after trees and palms, such as Orange Tree, Pine Tree, Needle Palm and Willow Oak. It isn't a planned community with a gate or a clubhouse. Homes sit on their own lots, and most have no HOA or CDD fees.
Amenities and community
Florida Shores has no community amenities of its own. City parks and the Indian River are nearby, and with no HOA many lots have room to park a boat, RV or trailer (city rules still apply). A few homes next to Massey Ranch Airpark, a small public airport with a paved runway, come with their own airplane hangars.
Location and getting around
The Indian River, with boating and fishing, is a short drive east. New Smyrna Beach and the beaches are a short drive north and east, and I-95 is to the west. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Check the flood zone on each listing.
